Hi, I’m Rose Lyn the proud owner of Let's Play Ruff and a lifelong animal lover who built a business around caring for your furry family member like they’re my own.
Since starting Let's Play Ruff in 2015, I’ve been walking dogs, pet sitting, and giving peace of mind to pet parents who want nothing but the best for their companions. Whether it’s a daily walk, pet sitting, or just stopping by for a cuddle and a bowl refill, I make sure your pets feel safe, loved, and truly cared for when you can’t be there.
I know firsthand how stressful it can be to leave your pet in someone else’s hands, that’s why I’ve built my business on trust, consistency, and genuine care. Every animal I meet has their own personality, and getting to know each one is the best part of what I do.

I am a mother of four amazing kids ranging in age from 4 to 19. We live with our Golden-doodle, 2 sweet cats. and two turtles. Last but not least we have 4 chickens and 3 ducks and fortunately they live outside! Needless to say I am very busy..but that's how I like it!! I have always enjoyed being a caretaker. I started babysitting jobs and pet sitting as early as the age of 10 and I grew up with every kind of pet you can think of. I feel so very fortunate to have found a job that combines so many things that I love-animals, exercise, the outdoors, and the friendship of this wonderful group of women that I work with.

I was lucky enough to be born into a family of animal lovers and always have furry friends close by. I’ve adopted as well as taken care of almost any species you can imagine - from Great Danes to land snails to chinchillas, and even a seahorse! Whether they were my own pet or I was pet sitting for someone else, I’ve cared for them as if they were my own and loved every moment of it. I currently have two cats, a dog, and a snail. I’m passionate about three main things: animals, the outdoors, and athletics - I’m so happy to have found a job where I have the chance to experience all three at the same time!”

Hi! My name is Nicolette, my love for dogs started very young and I’ve been working with dogs since I was 15 and I’m now 28. I have a corgi at home that I absolutely love spending time with. I’m very passionate about health and all animals. I just graduated as a health and wellness coach and enjoy being able to work two main jobs that I love.

Hi! I'm Sarah. I have my own share of pets at home including 3 dogs, 5 cats and a few exotics. I work full time but also do dog walking and pet sitting part time. I used to volunteer at a dog shelter and walk the dogs around the area. Since then, I really enjoy spending my spare time working for LPR walking dogs. It’s so interesting to see all the different types of personalities (and breeds) that are out there and I love building a connection with each and every one of them!

My name is Tracy and I am a wife and mother of 3. I am a big time pet lover. I really enjoy spending time with dogs. I started with Rose Lyn at LPR doing dog walking and petcare as a part time job. I have always owned many animals. I have had a turtle, rabbit, hamsters guinea pigs, lizards, and even a pet rat. All the dogs that I have owned are rescues, and I currently foster for a local rescue Home Free Animal Rescue. I currently have 2 of my own dogs, a cat and my foster dog Mona. I am a huge hockey fan (NY Rangers) and enjoy hanging out with my kids, husband and my dogs on my days off.

I’m a proud mom, full-time working gal, who started with Let’s Play Ruff as a side gig when my son left for college. I grew up a cat lover, but dogs won me over after marrying my husband 33 years ago. Today, I’m lucky to share life with my girl, Roxy. Between family, work, and my love for pets, I’ve learned so much about care, connection, and the joy animals bring into our lives. I’m truly grateful for every experience that’s shaped how I support and understand the pets (and pet parents!) around me.

Hi, my name is Kim. As the owner of a very sweet mini poodle named Leo. I am passionate about caring for dogs and with three college age kids. Last year I decided to pursue this passion through dog walking. I truly enjoy spending time with each and every dog and care for them as if they were my own.

Hi I'm Sydlo (Syd for short). I've grown up around dogs my whole life, usually having two family dogs at a time. I've trained Seeing Eye dogs in college and was a vet tech at a small and exotic animal clinic so I love all animals of every shape and size. If I am not walking your dogs you can find me at the gym lifting weights or running on the beach with my three year old dalmatian.

I have been a pet owner and animal lover my whole life. I was lucky enough to have many cats and a dog during my childhood and fell in love with animals at a young age. After college I started pet-sitting for clients in Virginia until 2021, when I moved to NYC. My husband and I relocated to the area in 2024 with our 2 cats, and through Let's Play Ruff I've been able to make so many connections with both people and animals.

Hi I'm Ethan, I live with a golden doodle, two cats, ducks, chickens, and a turtle so I am very comfortable with animals.
